Charlotte holds a BA in ceramics from Michigan State University and currently teaches in the greater Ann Arbor area. NCECA 2023 | Episode 928

NCECA 2023 was a great year for the conference. It felt like the “good o’ days” of pre-covid conferences. And one of the things I really love about NCECA are the PopUps that occur that are sponsored by various potters. The events are always magnetic and full of great people and pots. This year was no different. I wasn’t able to make it to all the PopUps, but these were two excellent examples. Though the PopUps were pre-planned, these interviews were not. I showed up unannounced, pulled out my mic, and started asking questions.
